MEMBERHIP IS FROM THE 1st of January to the 31st December.
However if you become a member after the 1st of October your memberhip will run till the 31st of December the NEXT year.
Rabbit Fanciers Society of NSW has a new membership system
Companion Member – ($20 single / $25 family)
For those members who just want to show their pet rabbits in the property class section. Benefits include: - Bi-monthly newsletters - Notification of all RFSNSW events - shows and seminars Companion members are unable to purchase rings and there is to be no advertising as a registered rabbit breeder. Companion members are able to upgrade to associate or full membership The two following membership types are for breeders of rabbits with a standard of perfection by the BRC. However being a member of the Rabbit Fanciers Society of NSW does not give anyone the entitlement to advertise as a registered breeder. Club members are encouraged to advertise themselves as "Associate Members" or "Active Competitive Member " of the club so that they may be differentiated from unassociated and indiscriminate breeders. Associate Member – ($30 Single/ $35 family) Is for members who live too far away to show but want to register a stud name. They will need to supply photographic evidence of stock quality that the committee will need to review and approve. Associate members may not purchase rings. Other benefits include:
Competitive/ Full Member – ($35 Single/ $40 family ) Is for a member who will exhibit and attend shows regularly. They can purchase rings and register a stud prefix after a 3-6 month probationary period. The RFS Committee will decide after 3 months regarding the length of probation period. If show attendance has not been sufficient for the 3 months then probation may be extended to 6 months. Concessions are available for anyone wishing to show who has purchased stock that has been supplied and rung by recognised breeders. Other benefits include: - Bi-monthly newsletters - Notification of all RFSNSW events – shows and seminars - Discounted entry fee in breed classes - Registering a stud prefix - Able to purchase rings from the RFS - Claim championships for their rabbits
